Web 2.0: Blogs, Twitter, and Beyond

I’ve been blogging for several years, having created blog content for various companies and launched a student blog for the Emerson College Office of Graduate Admission. I currently co-edit Bostonist, a blog about Boston news and events. Part of the Gothamist network of blogs, we receive over 200,000 visitors monthly. I manage a team of about a dozen writers, assigning topics and editing their submissions. I’ve worked extensively with both WordPress and Movable Type and used Technorati, MyBlogLog, and other methods to promote blogs. I launched a Twitter feed for Ploughshares and manage the Twitter account for my current company, Percussion Software. My experience with social media has prepared me well to help create a functional social media plan and relevant online content for your company or organization.
